Optimum Utilisation of Resources and Productivity Chapter 1

The above sentence has got a really deep meaning in itself .It explains the development and destruction of human civilisation in probably one sentence.If we go back in times,India was one of the richest countries in terms money and resources.India has experienced rules of various rulers of different cultures and ethnicity.They came to India with relatively small army but still they succeeded to rule our land. Have we ever imagined WHY ???

They succeeded because we were scattered and divided among ourselves.We are cursed with a fate of fighting with our own people and known ones.We were and are unaware of our potential and strength.And until we understand this thing people will be successful in dividing us and ruling us.Anyways that is not the topic of discussion today.The topic which I want to discuss with you is that ARE WE USING OUR RESOURCES AND STRENGTH PRODUCTIVELY????

So let’s take the example of the most valuable resource of modern times i.e ‘The Internet’.

Almost the handsets in India are 4G or 3G enabled.We all are the users of internet.But how we use it is the matter of question NOW! We have observed that most of the time it is used unproductive uses.Of course Recreation is important,but there is a very thin line between Recreation and Wastage of time,productivity and opportunity of learning something new.We must have seen that most of us are on social media sites or at online streaming sites while travelling.Even when we ask any person about what he uses internet for.The answer is Whatsapp,Facebook,Instagram,Snapchat,Netflix and so on.Is internet restricted to these application only ???

If we have to do any project or assignment we just Google it out and we write what is available on the first preference website.People don’t even check the reliability and originality of the data they just copied and Teachers are also okay with it.Such kind of casual attitude towards things of some people will give birth to a new form of disparity in India after income disparity i.e INTELLECTUAL DISPARITY .If we see internet in real sense it has the abilities to redefine the future of our lives and make our lives better if we use it productively.Instead of reading Fake news circulating over news feed on Facebook , we can actually go to newspaper websites and can have a better and authentic source of news and information . We can also have a look around on the statistics released by various public departments and laws passed by the legislature and parliament.We can actually get a real view of our country’s progress . But hardly few of us do such things.As a result people are easily able to fool people by manipulating and distorting facts and figures.This is due to the IGNORANCE on the part of the people.This is the reason that we are still getting divided.
“Having no knowledge is okay,but being ignorant is lethal for everyone”
Every invention of science has got its pros and cons.If we use it for a good cause our lives get better,but if we misuse it we create a problem for everybody.Riots and lynchings all took place because such causes.We have decreased our productivity because of us misusing the internet.Ofcouse many of us have unstood this phenomenal quite earlier and we are improving ourselves but what about others.Do they want to give birth to a new form of disparity among us ??
